タイの女性歌手タタ・ヤンが2004年にリリースした曲です。同名タイトルのアルバムはアジアを中心に大ヒットし、インドでは100万枚以上を売り上げました。
同年同タイトルの日本語ver.で日本デビューを果たし、音楽番組に出演するなど人気を集めました。

「celebration」は喜びや幸せなどを「祝う」
意味で似た意味の「congratulations」は
「達成」などを祝う時に使われます。
例えば誕生日など出来事を祝う時は「celebration」、
結婚など人の行動から祝う時は
「congratulations」が使われます。）

（「does it show」は「見れば分かる」の意味で
「いい事あったの？」などと聞かれた時にも

（「They shine」は訳すと「それらが輝く」
ですが、「They」が指すものは「星々」と解釈し
「輝く星々よ」と訳しました。
「shine over」の「over」は「一面」や
「上の方から」を意味するので
「照らして」と訳しました。）

（「underneath」は「下」という意味ですが
同じいみの「under」より強調したい時に
使われるので「下でなら」と訳しました。）

（「where the souls alive」で「魂が生きる場所」
を意味しますが、全体を通した歌詞の内容から
「天国」の存在を重要視していることが見て取れます。
余談ですが、タタ・ヤンさんの出身地であるタイは
「天国」と呼ばれたり「天国の島」と呼ばれる
リゾート島がありました。）

（「mean to be」で「そう意図されている」や
「そういう運命」を意味します。
「healing touch」はセラピー用語でもあるらしいのですが

調べたところ近年は病気を患われているそうです。ただ、当時の人気ぶりは今のタイのアイドルの原型になったほどだそうです。今後の活躍も期待したいですね。
