2008年にアメリカの歌手ビヨンセが発表した曲です。
アメリカを中心に大ヒットし、ローリング・ストーン誌が選ぶ「2008年シングル・ベスト100」では1位に輝きました。
曲作りにはビヨンセも参加。自身がジェイZと結婚した後、二人の結婚の影響力の大きさから極秘婚を選ばざるをえなかった状況から、作曲家陣たちは結婚についての曲を、中でも結婚を怖れる男性についての曲を書こうと思い立ったそうです。
