1991年にアメリカのバンド、ミスター・ビッグが発表した曲です。
ビルボードHOT100で1位を獲得し、イギリスを始めヨーロッパでも多くの国で1位となる大ヒットを記録しました。
日本でもCMに起用されるなど人気を集めた曲です。世界的にはこの曲から徐々に人気が落ちたそうですが、日本では根強く人気を集めたバンドです。

本来この曲はアルバムからシングルカットする予定は無かったそうです。ただ、意図せず曲がラジオで人気を博し、世界中に広まったためシングル発売したとか。現実とは良くも悪くも、思い通りに運ばない面白いものですね。
