2000年にデンマークとノルウェーのグループ・アクアが発表した曲です。
ヨーロッパを中心に大ヒットし、デンマークでは2000年に最も売れた曲となりました。
シングル発売する前の1月1日に、全世界のラジオ局に配信されたことから、日本でもラジオのパワープレイに選ばれたり、CMで使われ知名度を上げました。

「Arachnophobian／アラクノフォビア」は調べましたところ
「蜘蛛恐怖症」の意味だそうです。
「toon」は「漫画」や「アニメ」などの意味。
「never land」は「夢の国」や「理想郷」などの意味。）

（「learn to ～」は「～を学ぶ」や「～を習得する」の他
「～出来るようになる」の意味でもあります。
「what you just can’t do」は「あなたには絶対出来ないこと」の意味。
「you just can’t do」は「あなたにはどうしても出来ない」や
「あなたにはどうしようもない」などの意味。
「opera／オペラ」は「歌劇」の意味ですが
元はイタリア語の「作品」や「仕事」を意味するそうで
こちらの方が自然だと思って「作品」と訳しました。
「craziness」は「狂気」や「精神異常」を意味しますが
口語では「熱狂」や「夢中な状態」を意味します。
「bunch」は「房」や「束」などの意味ですが
「大勢」や「沢山」の意味でもあります。
「A bunch of ～」で「沢山の～」の意味になります。）

（「mysterious」は「不可思議」や「神秘的」などの意味。
「Don’t take us all too serious」は「真に受けないで」の意味。
「Be original」は「本来のままで」などの意味ですが
自然な日本語になるよう「本来の君でいて」と訳しました。）

自分たちを漫画のヒーローに見立てながらも「良い子は真似しちゃ駄目だよ」の注釈もしっかり入れているところが面白いです。とてもワクワクする一曲です。
