1994年にイギリスのロックバンド、オアシスが発表した曲です。
ヨーロッパを中心にヒットした曲ですが、日本では多くのCMに起用されたことから「オアシスと言えばこの曲」と言う方も多いです。
2009年にはバンドで日本の音楽番組に出演し、ファンの前で当時の新曲を披露してくれましたが、アンコールの声に応えて作詞曲者のノエル・ギャラガーが一人でこの曲を披露してくれました。

「自制する」「落ち着く」などの意味。
「cost」は「費用」や「代価」などの意味で

「あまり手間はかからない」などの意味になります。）
