2011年にイギリスのアイドル、ワン・ダイレクションが発売したデビュー曲です。イギリスではチャートの1位を獲得し、アメリカでは400万枚以上売り上げました。通称「WMYB」と表記されます。
非常に爽やかで、十代の女性を優しく励ましてくれるアイドルのデビュー曲らしい一曲です。
作詞曲は多くのアイドルを手掛けた音楽プロデューサー、ラミ・ヤコブさんです。

（「like nobody else」は「誰にも負けないほど」や
「他の誰とも違う」の意味になります。
「flip」は「ひっくり返す」の意味で、
「flip your hair」は「君の髪を掻きあげる」
の意味になります。その前の「The way ～」は
「～のやり方」を意味しますが、
自然な言葉になるよう「姿」と訳しました。
「overwhelmed」は「圧倒された」や
「参らせた」の意味です。
「smile at the ground」は直訳すると
「地面に笑う」となりますが、
恥ずかしがりな人が「俯いて笑う」意味です。
「desperately」は「必死」や「猛烈」の意味。）

輝かしいデビューを飾った1Dですが、メンバーの脱退や逝去という悲しい過去もあります。解散自体はしていないので、また集まって歌って欲しいものです。
