1987年にアメリカの歌手テイラー・デインが発表したメジャー・デビュー曲です。
アメリカやイギリスでヒットし、グラミー賞にもノミネートされました。
とにかく、音楽史に残るのではと言うくらい、力強い歌唱力が魅力です。
元々は誰にも採用されなかった曲の一つでしたが、テイラー自身が発掘し、デビュー曲に採用しました。プロデューサーはテイラーの歌唱力からなる曲の完成度を高く評価していたそうです。
