現代のクリスマス定番曲として毎年12月にはアメリカを始め、多くの国や地域のチャート上位にランクインしています。
近代発表されたクリスマスソングと言うことで、マライア・キャリーの「All I Want for Christmas Is You／恋人たちのクリスマス」と比較されがちですが、どちらも素敵な曲です。
